Is there a product, solution or tool that makes you think it is a good design for your digital publishing efforts?
Good question, but I cannot think of anything. Except hard work and being forward-thinking. Keeping ahead of what is happening in the industry. Finding good stories and sharing them with people. Building relationships. All of that stuff.
Any advice for ambitious digital publishing and media professionals just starting out?
Always look for the next thing. Always be on the lookout for opportunity. Do not let people take advantage of you. Expect to be paid if people can afford it. Work hard but do not burn yourself out. If you cannot find a way in then create your own opportunities. Most of all: do it because you love it, and if you stop loving it, go and do something else.
